In the 100th year of the Republic of Türkiye, our goal was to reveal one single truth through 100 dives at 100 different locations along Türkiye’s coasts:
The Sea of Marmara — our country’s only inland sea — is the “Last Refuge.”
I sought to express this truth through stories from popular culture, statistical data, underwater photographs and footage, interviews with experts, and scientific articles.
In “From the Sea of Marmara to the Mediterranean: A Sustainability Journey,” we tried to move closer to our future at the very moment we decided to attempt the impossible.
